What is it?

At Clarity Skin we offer both Radio Frequency (ThermaCell) Skin Tightening and Laser Skin Tightening (using a YAG Laser.) Skin tightening is needed when areas of the skin sag or droop. These treatments are great for the treatment of sagging skin of the face, jowls, and neck. The skin tightening treatments are also indicated for the treatment of post liposuction of all areas of the face and body to help additionally smooth and firm skin post procedure.

Results

With Laser Skin Tightening laser energy penetrates into the dermis layer of the skin causing the skin to begin the process of collagen and elastin regeneration, which is responsible for springy youthful looking skin. We recommend between 3 to 6 treatments spaced about 4 weeks apart. Optimal results will manifest within about 3 months of finishing the series of treatments.

Loose skin can also be treated with a Radio Frequency "ThermaCell" Machine. This process tightens the skin using focused energy (radio waves) that causes the collagen and protein in the skin to shrink. This shrinking tightens the skin and causes new collagen to form making it stronger and more resilient. The effects increase over time with maximum results achieved a few months after treatment. The ThermaCell also requires multiple treatments, we recommend between 6 to 10 treatments spaced one week apart for maximum results.
